Core Material Disciplines

A.J. Craftex operates across three primary material disciplines, enabling the manufacture of a broad range of residential and commercial furniture products with mixed-material construction capabilities.

1. Solid Wood Manufacturing

Primary discipline — chemically treated, chamber-seasoned timber construction

The solid wood production line constitutes the core manufacturing discipline. All timber used in production is chemically treated under high-pressure processes and further seasoned in controlled chambers to ensure structural integrity, dimensional stability, and compliance with phytosanitary requirements for international export.

The woodworking floor is equipped with automated machinery including CNC routers, multi-boring machines, dovetail jointers, tenoners, mortisers, wide-belt sanders, and panel saws. This equipment allows for precision engineering with consistent output quality across production runs.

2. Natural Marble Integration

Component-level marble sourcing and integration into furniture assemblies

A.J. Craftex has developed an efficient and reliable sourcing network for natural marble materials. Marble is integrated at the component level — as tabletops, shelf inlays, panel accents, and bookcase elements — within wooden and metal frame assemblies. The marble division supports both standard slab cuts and custom-profiled pieces based on client specifications.

3. Architectural Ironwork

In-house metalworking for frames, legs, brackets, and structural elements

The in-house ironwork facility provides complete metal fabrication capabilities including welding, bending, cutting, and finishing of structural iron components. This vertical integration enables the production of mixed-material furniture featuring iron frames with wood or marble surfaces, as well as standalone metal furniture and decorative ironwork.

In-house iron capabilities allow for better quality control, tighter dimensional tolerances on metal-to-wood interfaces, and reduced lead times compared to outsourced metalwork.

Machinery & Production Equipment

The facility is equipped with the following primary production machinery, with capacity to add additional equipment as production requirements scale:

# Equipment Quantity
1 Two-Side Planner 1
2 Straight Line Rip Saw 2
3 Wide Belt Sander 1
4 Clamp Carrier 2
5 Panel Saw 3
6 CNC Router 2
7 Moulder 1
8 Multi-Boring Machine 1
9 Tenoner 1
10 Mortiser 1
11 Dovetail Machine 1
12 Band Saw (Aara) 2
Equipment Expansion: The facility maintains a policy of adding new machinery as production requirements dictate. Equipment acquisition is evaluated based on client program volume and product complexity requirements.

Design & Sampling Department

A.J. Craftex maintains an in-house design and sampling team that works with clients on product development, specification adjustment, and custom design programs. The team is equipped to develop prototypes and pre-production samples based on client reference images, dimensional specifications, or existing product adaptations.

The design team continuously develops new products aligned with current market requirements and is prepared to undertake new design challenges per client direction.
